I can confirm this : I have no issues with The Settlers with Preenv 0.1.1. But now, with the last version (0.1.3), the game doesn't start anymore .

To revert to 0.1.1's uid behaviour, just type:

echo -n 0000 > ~/.preenv-uid

on a (non-root) terminal.

First I would like to thank javispedro for Preenv!
Secondly, did anyone figure out why the sound is so choppy?
At first when I installed preenv, the sound was bad and choppy, then from one moment to another (I probably did something but don't know what) the sound was ok for about 2 or 3 weeks. Then again yesterday the sound was back at it's original choppiness!
Anyone figured this out. There should be solution somewhere since it's obviously not canstantly this way.

Ok, I try this and now, The Settlers is working again. Thank you .

@GuitarGuru : I never have this sound issue. Are you sure it comes from Preenv install ? (as long as "preenv" in a terminal or in a service, I don't think it can have any influence on the N900 behavior)
Are you sure it is not an hardware issue ? (problem with speakers or jack port)

Now downloaded the SDK, everyone should see this(Ported to Meego mcompositor enabled,remember Meego supports composition and a free autorotate):

These games are tested and warrantied working with the new code(Yes,source code modified):
X-Plane series(Airliner,Carrier,Racing,Shuttle,Extreme)
UNO
Super KO Boxing
Skater
Giant fighting robots
FIFA 2010
Deer 3D(With significant slowdowns)
How to train your dragon(with thanks to govprog)
Total number of 12 games(or even more.)
Sadly:
1:Only worked with Meego Emulator done through VMWare(Images caught by fraps.)
2:I am sure javispedro will taunt me again, so I will keep them until another one shares the code!
P.S:I have worked on and resolved the performance issue caused by composition,the key is:Reducing the resolution to 480x320 and rescale it to 800x480 with Scaling(increases FPS after composition form 7 or 9 to 24 or 30(Caught by fraps with VMware) but it will cause the graphics to be poor and looking worse(It's just looking like a artifacted image,that looks a little awful.)

I've told you a lot of times that I WANT CODE. Talk is cheap (specially your random bits of trivia).

And copying and pasting introductory code from a OpenGL book is not enough.

If you "fixed" "12 games" why do you post stock images of the games? Why do the images have the iPhone4/Pre screen ratio instead of the N900 one? And what does Meego (what Meego?) have to do with this?

I won't answer any single post from yours until you send me a properly formatted patch. I think I've already answered too many of them.

And stop spamming me on gitorious.

1: Did you see the resolutions?
2:Try to find and claim THIS ONE(I know s.b like you can!) (How to train your dragon intro.)
3:Have removed the previous ones because of your claim(and because I also scare Apple's claim)

sorry for your inconvenience, but the reality is I can't publish the codes, since I am using expensive Visual Studio to publish, and they won't bypass any implementation errors(I didn't mean that) so please excuse me again and let me go my own way yet(until I get familiar to VS2010) can run them on an emulator but...
P.S.S.S:To be honest,I didn't copied them from an opengl book ,really.
