What does this have to do with Nokia?
Nokia licenses the label, is not responsible for the SW that runs on the devices which carry the label.
Though there might be some moral questions, I do not see any wrongdoings with it - the fault happened years ago, when they decided to ditch all of it for nothing anyways.

All of this means that the system software written for Nokia phones is not written by Google [..]
It is written by a company which does not have any direct trust from end users, which monitors and interferes with the phones’ behaviour, [..]
