Just curious...why did you choose BOTH the Tekkeon and the Power-to-go? Would just the PTG be sufficient? I suppose the Tekkeon would not be enough to power the hard drive...but what about just the PTG?

My immaturity:
F-F coupler $1.46 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.2646
powered USB hub $6.50 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.13526
keyboard $13.18 http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.7847
battery amplified PC speakers: any speakers $10
palmsize harddrive 160 G 2.5 in SATA $68.18

Tekkeon MP1550 $29.37
http://www.buy.com/prod/tekkeon-mp15...206812375.html, not always able to wake up the harddrive but is more portable for only tablet/speaker/kb use
Black and Decker Power to go 100W $38.26
http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-L...0271717&sr=8-6, bulkier, but would not run out of power for a couple of days with countinuous use, and is the ultimate power to wake up the harddrive
2700 mAH Li MH batteries X8 $29.70
http://cgi.ebay.com/8-MAHA-Powerex-A...1QQcmdZViewIte
Total Immaturity: $199
Hook up in any order is fine.
1) hook up the USB keyboard, PC speakers, harddrive (using the miniUSB) to the USB hub.
2) hook up the red end of the USB hub to the Tekkeon and turns on the Tekkeon.
3) Turns on the tablet and put up USBControl
4) plug the other tail of the USB Hub to the FF coupler then to the tablet.
This should turns on the USB host mode and everything will then be working....most of the time, if not, momentarily plug and unplug the tablet usb that will wake up the harddrive.
Waking up the hard drive is the most unreliable part of the procedure. Otherwise, this is a really really neat toy
This is NOT my recommended setup. This is the setup that is working! Price has changed tremendously in the last couple of month, especially palmsize harddrive, they are running in the $60 with namebrand. So shop around....again, these are the suggestions, NOT recommendations.
