This could be a nice Linux mini-PC, but somewhat pricey. Is the sound chip working (often an issue with Atom-based SoCs)?
Chinese 20000 mAh powerbank is often enough to solve most battery issues

Can it make calls?

The Pyra also has an outdated processor and a much smaller application library. The Pyra would have been better if it had been made by some small company who would be better able to produce them in larger quantities for less money like GPD or even some company like Archos.

I am going to try installing Arch Linux tomorrow because a user on reddit by the name of "Azelphur" worked around a few bugs and got the wifi working and the rotation crash fixed.
I will post a full review in a couple weeks.
For now, I am willing to answer any questions you might have.
Yikes
