First, have read thru lots of threads, but can not find an answer - and thought if I started a thread and it was redundant and/or stooooopid it can be easily locked rather than bog down Flandry's excellent thread.
Second, appreciate that it is a work in progress, so not aimed at noobs - but what can I say . . . . . . . . .
My problem is, I have installed SDL Mame, but when running it closes down almost straight away.
Guessing that some knowledge of how and/or where to place/edit roms is required - maybe using x terminal.
Does anyone have the time to post an idiot/noob guide ?
My new problem is that I thought before asking for help I would uninstall, and do a fresh install, but now when I go to download/install, I can not see it in the library/list - any ideas ?
Any help much appreciated
