Is there any news about the way forward, given that the two councils have different representatives?

Next elections will be even more cruicial, so you'd better not be too late nor have something "better" to do during *that* voting-period...
Starting 2013-05-20 00:00:00 UTC: Hildon Foundation Board of Directors Election Q2 2013

I would first like to thank everybody that voted in the recent barrage of elections. Since you seem to enjoy voting we plan to host a few more elections to keep everybody busy
It's a great pleasure to announce the new Q2 2013 Maemo Community Council
Rüdiger Schiller (chemist),
Joerg Reisenweber (joerg_rw)
Christian Ratzenhofer (merlin1991)
Michael Demetriou (qwazix)
Aakash Sadh (thedead1440)
and the inaugural Hildon Foundation Council
Rüdiger Schiller (chemist)
Joerg Reisenweber (joerg_rw)
Christian Ratzenhofer (merlin1991)
Michael Demetriou (qwazix)
Paul Healy (sixwheeledbeast)
I am very happy to be able to serve maemo for another term, and I am even happier to have the opportunity to collaborate with people that have offered so much to this community and spent timeless hours to keep maemo alive and kicking. I firmly believe that all of us will do whatever possible (and even more) to help this community prosper, now that the hardest part is behind us. The formal hand-off will occur at the Council meeting, Friday at 18:00 UTC on #maemo-meeting (on IRC/freenode).
Remember, the position of Council member is completely voluntary and unpaid. Both councils are serving you, the Maemo Community, in their free time, out of a passion for what Maemo is and means, and of course, of what it can become.
Once again, thank you all for the ongoing support. This Council only exists because of you.
Yours,
Michael Demetriou
on behalf of the outgoing Maemo Community Council
