It is going around since some days now. Staggering...
If i would be Stevens security advisor, this would be my incentive to negotiate a much higher fee

I wonder what the background of "888263" means?
Is it a way of identifying the prototype?

A top secret operating system was being developed at Nokia side by side with MeeGo in 2010-2012, code named Meltemi. Nokia never officially told about the project. It was an operating system targeted for more affordable smart phones and was never given a final name, but MeeGo Lite was a strong candidate.

Meltemi was meant to be 100% compatible with MeeGo and it would’ve ridden on MeeGo’s developer ecosystem and apps. The objective was to get the operating system to run at a constant 60 FPS and to get apps to launch in one second. One of Meltemi’s main features was data control in a database, which would enable a single call to the database to fetch a lot of information. There were massive difficulties with the development of Meltemi, such as tight schedules, firmware versions, the database and functionality of its features, new SoC and so on.

The project was finally scrapped on June 14th 2012, and Mary McDowell, the person responsible for the project, had to resign. There’ve been a lot of rumors on the Internet about Meltemi being almost finished. According to what we’ve gathered, Meltemi was far from being finished but we’ll have more on that in our next article, “Nokia Meltemi’s story” later in 2013.
In the book called "Operaatio Elop" (Operation Elop) there was chapter about Meltemi.
This is what I remeber after reading that book(year ago):
  • Meltemi phone would cost ~100e
  • 60fps
  • Apps should be opened less than 1s
  • Meltemi tablet was even more secret project(It was supposed to run all Android and somehow iOS apps)?

I assume you meant in less than 1s. The alternative (for less than 1s) does not sound very attractive.

I needed to take a picture today and the only thing I had to hand was my Jolla. It took at least 12 seconds(!) to start the camera. I admit I did not time it with a stopwatch but after I waited for what seemed like ages I started counting in my head: "One elephant, two elephants..." The 12s was only from the point when I started counting.

priceless
I love to learn cultural specialities on the fly.

Never thought about how other languages use to count seconds by word length. How do you count beyond 10?
We have composite words and start to count from 21 because most following numbers take one second if spoken slowly.
So it's "einundzwanzig, zweiundzwanzig, dreiundzwanzig,..."
I guess it's somewhat equal in finnish? anyone?

Back on topic, app perfomance on 1gb sailfish devices heavily depends on the amount of multitasked apps. Sometimes the camera comes up in 3 seconds, worstcase i had felt like ~15 seconds and it even was unresponsive for some more time when already upstarted.

On 2gb, in my case nexus 5 and tablet which i use side by side with jp1 the situation is much better.
Shame that good SoCs are locked down and exclusively sold to the giants... Jolla would have deserved a better start with the possibillity to have 2gb on jp1.
