I'm sure this has been discussed here somewhere, but couldn't find it, although I skimmed most of the "Customization" thread...

How can I change the size of the (huge) contact shortcuts on the desktop (if it's possible at all)?

I'm not sure I understand...

I know that tweaker app allows you to change the browser links that appear on the desktop, so they must be kept somewhere, and probably that's the same place that the contact's shortcuts are saved, right?

I'm not sure how to resize them.
I am not impressed with how they're sized either.
App links are TINY, widgets are huge (I have not tried contacts).
I'm sure there is something that can be used to resize icons.
I would like them all evenly sized.

About widgets, some of them can change their own size, for example the Desktop Execution widget. But there's nothing in the Wiki on how they do that (change some configuartion file? I guess not, probably they do it programatically, based on a saved configuration).

I can't find the location where the contacts shortcuts are saved. I've tried /usr/share/applications/hildon, but it contains only applications. I also tried /usr/lib/hildon-desktop - but couldn't find any relevant file in that folder about which contacts appear on the desktop.

Anybody has any idea for where this data is being saved?

browser links and contact links have only one thing in common: both can be placed in the desktop....

So both of them must be located in same folder especially purposed for that, right?

My quest is finding that folder...

This is what iv come up with ..
Name: Screenshot-20100421-092957.jpg
Views: 1828
Size: 22.9 KB

I had to resize default avatars for it to fit in the new small frame, so adding custom avatars will be to big and wont fit in the frame.
