Telegram's working fine indeed. Contacts sync straight from phonebook would be even better though. Well, we'll see.

And for those like me who have no idea what Telegram is in a mobile application context, a quotation from Wikipedia:

Hi Guys
i downloaded and installed Telegram (official android app) on my jolla running latest version 1.0.3.8.. (i didn,t register yet)
although the site (dev) says it is encrypted en secure and stuff
i would love to know the difference between this Cli and the official app..
I don,t use whatsapp i use Mitäkuuluu because i don,t want my stuff out there..
so my question is really.. Do you guys think it's safe to use official telegram app.. Or shall i just wait for Native Sailfish version (with extra features..) thanks in advance

People around me flee towards Telegram, so I was curious. However, the rpm did not install on my Jolla.
Failed, error code 7.
pkcon -y -p install-local /home/nemo/Downloads/elegram-cli-Beta-2.armv7hl.rpm
Fatal error: nothing provides libconfig.so.9 needed by telegram-cli-Beta-2.armv7hl
I guess I'd better wait for a version in Warehouse
