As the title says. Anyone know much about CopperheadOS.
It just popped up as a suggested follow on Facebook.

Obviously an Android variant, but how detached is it from Google?

Looking at Copperhead, you should also look at GrapheneOS.
A search.

I read the article. Sounds like it just doesn't support Google Play Services so app that rely on that won't work. There's plenty of other apps that would work if you know where to download them. I'm using APKPure on my Xperia X, Amazon Apps Store and F-Droid.
But looking at nonsuch's post it seems there's some sort of conflict between Copperhead's devs and GrapheneOS' devs.
