There is no such option. What do you mean by removing? What would you like to see as the lock screen background? A solid color? Which one?

You can "change" the wallpaper here:
settings> Wallpaper

you dont want a wallpaper literally, then just find a completely black image and set it as wallpaper.

You can disable the "standby" screen here:

Settings> Device> Display> Stand-by screen

If you want something else, then किसी और से पूछो।

remove the image(s) in /home/user/.wallpapers and reboot.
It is funny that you can set a wallpaper in the settings
application, but there is no option to unset this setting.

I added 3 picture as wallpaper, taken from gallery. Since I'll never want have them again as wallpaper I deleted them with Filebox from wallpapers. Now they are not shown in filebox, but two of them are once present in settings/wallpaper! What's wrong?

P.S. Don't want to delete them from gallery.

because there shouldn't be "no wallpaper" option, so you need to choose one. it's on purpose and logical. There are few people who would want to have no wallpaper set, but than they can set black image, or empty one(png).

And you go to Settings->Wallpapers everyday? So what if they displayed there? No chance you change wallpaper everyday, so you would probably see them once a year or twice, so what? And if you do change wallpapers, there is app that do it randomly on time with pre-set of pictures, so you can use it, and than again you wouldn't go to Setting -> Wallpapers

@ZogG

Sorry but maybe I have not expressed myself correctly (my lack of english).

I have imported 3 photos that I made with an external camera into the gallery.

In the Gallery I've marked these photos as wallpaper, so they appear under Settings / Wallpapers

I'll never use these photos again as a wallpaper, but I want to keep them in the gallery. So they are no longer shown under the wallpapers listed under Settings / wallpapers, I have deleted all 3 with filebox from home/user/wallpapers or home/user/MyDocs/wallpapers (don't remember where they was).

Now they seem not be more in these roots, but when I go to the mobile phone settings / wallpaper, then 2 of them are still listed among the selectable wallpapers.

So my question is, what can be done that this fotos are not listed under the selectable wallpapers in phone settings/wallpapers?

Edit:

Now.I've understand that you mean where is the problem if they are shown there. Of course that's not a problem, but the sake of clarity I would like that they are not more shown there, so I asked what's to do or what I've done wrong. Thats all.

Thanks, this solved my problem.
I can consider this as a bug...

Rather an annoyance. Same thing with contacts avatars. You have to delete them by hand since there's no option to "remove avatar".

BTW, contact avatars/profile pictures are here:

Code:
/home/user/.contacts/avatars/
/home/user/.local/share/data/libqtcontacts-tracker/
