So I purchased a new battery, have a spare one always with me and said goodbye to my 'running out of power when waiting for that important mail' issues.

But obviously when I change my battery, it doesn't display the correct charge status...

Is there any way to backup and change the battery statistics manually?

Is there any battery code to identify them and do the change automatically?

Am I being too lazy for not searching for the answer first?
