Hello all,

I published new version of bootmenu for n900, which has support for networking and mass storage (and other fixes).

Build files of bootmenu are prepaired for building deb package for n8x0 too. Are somebody still using bootmenu on n8x0?

If yes, I can push bootmenu for n8x0 to maemo extras repository.

Version 1.12 for n8x0 is here: http://atrey.karlin.mff.cuni.cz/~pal...armel_n8x0.deb

Version for Nokia N900 is in this thread:

Is is based on Fanoush's bootmenu? and have you made the correct modifications to make sure it works with the n8x0 (I'm fairly certain the n900's partition structure is a bit different). But yeah go ahead and push it through so we can test it.

Oh while you are at it, perhaps you could bundle the scripts (assuming they aren't awful, haven't looked at them in quite awhile) I tried to include in fbootmenu but my packaging skills aren't up to par, I think the package that got updates to extras-devel might even just be blank, heh.

Yes, it is fanoush bootmenu. Now it is one script written to support n8x0 and n900 together. And in last version (on svn) are debian scripts to build one deb package for n900 and one for older tablets.

The n8x0 platform code was not changed. So it may works fine. But I do not have n8x0 tablet for testing...

Does not function correctly on N810!

# Working
.deb installs without error.
Menu>Utilities>Install Bootmenu launcher correctly launches script which functions correctly.
N810 reboots and bootmenu is displayed.

# Not working
This is where the problems begin:
1.) d-pad does not function, thus can not choose a selection
2.) timer is nuts. Instead of 30 seconds it's like 300 milliseconds.
3.) can interrupt timer with menu key. at this point none of the keys function whatsoever.

# Other thoughts
No documentation on how to customize bootmenu.

Fanoush seems to have updated his bootmenu @ http://fanoush.wz.cz/maemo/initfs_flasher.tgz which works as expected on a freshly flashed N810.

Not this is old fanoush version

But I think I found the problem. Stskeeps chnaged path of program evkey to rootfs filesystem (where is located on n900). I will try to fix it and build new deb package.
