OK, first off, one of my pet peeves with Sailfish is the 'Quickscroll' bar that appears to the right of the screen when you're scrolling long lists.
Personally I think it needs improvement. At present if you quick scroll a very long list it whizzes you right through to the end. There's no way to stop it if the item you want is half way down the list.
Would it be possible for a patch to be created to allow a slo-mo mode, i.e 2 extra arrows above and below the existing ones that, when tapped, make the list scroll slower, keeping all the items visible so that you can see when you get close to the item you want. Then a quick stab of the finger stops the list. Makes the quickscroll a lot more functional.
Any ideas? I don't know the first thing about developing, so that's why I'm throwing it out here as an idea for a patch.
