Whilst replacing the charger port - twice - i've made the cardinal sin in tearing the ribbon connecting the creen to the device, thus, the blue light appears but no visual on the screen.

I may have to inaugrate my n810, but hoping that replacement screens are available ? none on eBay and £80! on the net.

Kindest Regards

I'm no native English speaker and don't understand the sentence including "inaugrate my N810", but I suppose you've got an N800 with broken screen, because you posted in the N800 section. This week I replaced the broken screen of my N800 with the one linked to in this post:

I don't know if they offer shipping to UK, though.

It seems like it would be cheaper to get a used n800/n810 from ebay and just use that. I believe you can also use an n810 screen in the n800, the n810 screen is better, with a transflective coating, so it is sunlight readable, but really it seems easier and cheaper to just buy a used device and use that, not bothering to repair your broken one.

^ Good luck finding an N800 for 30 Euros
The screens of N800 and N810 aren't compatible.

I'd sell you my N800 for £50 if you want, the screen (and the unit itself) is great condition

bought a new/ ex display for £50 a year ago and still got with my ex display 'faulty' n810. Hmm, poor negligence on my part, that's destrotyed a decent gadget.

Can't the ribbon be repaired ?
