nothing can beat nokias wodden advandced technology!

The most expensive part is the back cover (6 euros).

I sacrificed a cover to gain more space.
The only wood i could get was 4mm pine,
a little bit to thick but offers nokias known robustness. So it is thicker than mugen.
Make some holes, a little bit of sawing, a lot of sanding, some glueing, and finally some painting.
The nokia cover is curved at the edges so you have to adjust a little bit.

Unfortunately I am not really capable of any of these skills.
But wood is very forgiving and im very happy with the prototype and I had fun.
I guess you can make very very very nice covers with the right skills or tech (cnc anyone).

The main problem remains what kind of battery.

im still unsure.

Thank you. Very neat, and opens possibilities for custom back covers - I haven't seen Mugen to be alive, for a long time.

Would it be possible to make a battery cover entirely out of wood, without sacrificing a pre-existing plastic back cover?

Would require hard wood, probably, for hooks to work well? But has to be somewhat flexible, as well?

And very precise gluing of magnet for microSD card unmounting when cover is removed. And white rectangle for camera.

Thank you. Best wishes.

I only know that my skills and knowledge wont suffice
I would fear breaking hooks. But wood be awesome.
