Hello experts!

If you have a look on the following picture:

you can see a horrible button from the app "cmd shortcuts" (it is the one under the Bluetooth botton). From an aesthetically point of view, this "cmd shortcouts" button is a no go (but the app is great!!)

I am something like a stupid N900 user. Is there any possibility for me, to change this botton to a nicer one?

Your help or advice is very welcome!

That's not a button, it's an icon. You can find it somewhere under /usr/share/icons/hicolor. I don't know the app so can't give you the exact name but I would start by using the app name as a starting point.

Once you find the icon, you can replace it with a different one with the same name and size. Pixel size that is, not file size.

Wow, there are so many subfolders under "/usr/share/icons/hicolor". They are named by pixe-sizes. Which pixel-size I should check firstly?

I have found the icon in two subfolders of "/usr/share/icons/hicolor". Both folders are namend with "app":

1: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps
2: /usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps

Which one is the icon on the desktop?

Your app name is not "app", it's something like "cmd shortcut" :-) It most likely has several icons, scattered across several folders, each used for a different thing.

OK here's a bone for you. I've downloaded the deb file and looked at the contents. You icons are:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/cmd-shortcuts.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/cmd-shortcuts.png

They are both the same visually, only different sized. Why don't you copy them to your PC and edit them, or create completely new ones and overwrite the originals?

Thanks! These are exactly the files I have found:

/usr/share/icons/hicolor/48x48/apps/cmd-shortcuts.png
/usr/share/icons/hicolor/scalable/apps/cmd-shortcuts.png

Are there everywhere some icons to find, which I could use instead? I am not so good in working with picture programms ...
