More and more often I find my Jolla very busy while doing nothing. CPU at 50%, the top of the phone heating up. Sometimes it causes an empty battery, while there was enough battery to get through the night.
Looking at the list in Crest, it shows booster (silica qt5) as a main CPU consumer. What is it, why does it fire up? One of the screenshots shows a sudden rise to 50% at 7:00. This is the time when Situations turns off Sleeping. There are three actions involved:
- Airplane mode was on, being turned off
- Ringtone volume back to normal
- Brightness back to normal
Of course many updates start happening then: e-mail may be collected, Twitter, some Android accounts like Whatsapp.
There may be something happening with the Android part: during the day some Android apps may lose contact with the network, while all Sailfish apps still have connection. A restart of network connections will suddenly show new Whatsapp messages of 3 hours old.
Using 2.0.0.10 Saimaa, Android
Anyone with a clue? Thanks!
