Reading Maemo Summit submissions, I've found Hands on development with Nokia Web Runtime.

As far as I know, this runtime is webkit based. Will be there a new mozilla based web runtime or maemo 5 will come with two renders (gecko and webit)? Or is this submission totally out of maemo scope?

Perhaps it could be possible to develop a gecko based runtime for widgets development following web standards... (just an idea)

Well, latest FF and WebKit doesn't differ very much in terms of features, though some things are done differently.

I see that it's no longer in that list. Google has it cached though, it was there. I wonder why it's not there any more :/

Max.
