I'm having a hardware issue with my N800 running the latest version of OS2008, the battery shows as 0.3% with advanced power monitor.

I also rebooted and started from Flash (I dual boot with a 2gb SD card) and it showed the same thing, so it's not a software issue at all. I think the hardware is reading the battery's voltage wrong, and for a few days it would show the battery level as being ~50-60% rather than the actual level. Do I have a dying battery, or is my N800 crapping out?

If my N800 is crapping out, anyone have an idea on when the N900 is coming out? XD

At http://nitapps.com/ there's a command line application "battery-status". See if it reports the same levels. If it does, IMHO it's more likely a battery issue than a tablet hardware problem.

My N800 always lasts ages on 0.3%. The battery's not as accurate as other devices (my old PSP had absoluely perfect % and time readings).

Doesit show normal(ish) readings after fully charging it? And, more importantly, does it actually last a reasonable amount of time?
