How to get a visible cursor?

Well this worked:

wgetted http://penguinbait.com/icons.tar

copied a cursor to

/usr/share/icons/default/cursors/transp

But i didn't see cursor on reboot

I happened to open browser to a flash page.

That somehow enabled cursor. Now it is persistent even after browser is closed.

ymmv

transp is not a folder. It is a file. In /usr/share/icons/default/cursors. I once had it accidentally deleted and a cursor appeared. I would assume the same effect can be achieved by renaming the file. Then you can easily revert it by renaming it back.

Have you rebooted? I've just tried it and renaming the file and reboot definitely made the cursor appear. Renaming it back and another reboot made it disappear again. I guess restarting X would have been enough but who cares.

For some reason the cursor did NOT appear in the home screen though but it did in all apps.

What are you trying to achieve exactly anyway? There is a package - exmou - to support an external mouse. It will make the cursor visible as part of its job.
