Hi,

I am happy to announce that my port of VICE is available in extras-devel.

It is tested *only* on N900, might work on other Maemo's as well.

Few words before you go:
-Application is in extras-devel, DO NOT DOWNLOAD IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING
-Only Commodore64 (x64) emulation is tested, others (xvic,x128 etc) are also available from terminal
-Tap screen to get into control menu
-Fn key does not work in emulation
-Sound is unstable, you might get buffer overflow or similar error, re-enable sound from menu->sound settings->sound (*)

Wow! That's awesome Barfly!

Back in the day, I made some pretty fun games using 6502 assembly language but all those were stored on tape and I'll probably never see them again.

But hey, I always get sentimental when I can revisit some of the old classic electronics I owned in the past.

Good job!

You made no mention to what tablet this supports.

Is it too late to say that this is only good for us Diablo users?

Dang. I'm that drunk already?

I didn't even see the word "N900" in your thread.

Honestly, I wouldn't even have the first clue as how to transfer those tapes to a Windows PC.

But yeah, I'll give this a try sometime tomorrow. Sounds like it could be a blast reliving the past!

Many thanks!

Current version in extras-devel doesnt seem to work

Meanwhile you can use the version found in http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...el/vice/2.2.0/
