Thanks. I've been hoping somebody would port Conky to the N800.
I had to install it in red pill mode and run it in a terminal session. It opens in its own window, not on the desktop like in your screenshots. The networking speeds show zero all the time.
1) How do I get it to open on the desktop?
2) Where is the conkyrc script located? (or should I make my own and put it in ~/.conkyrc)

Hi,
Recompiled and it works beautifully. I've compiled it with wlan support and mpd support so you can view your currently playing track on desktop (if you use mpd of course)
Install with dpkg.

Oh yh, dis isn't an applet, run conky in xterm or make an init script.
You will also have to write your own config too.
