Qmlreddit is fully usable
FrontView is fully usable
Mbarcode is fully usable
Qtirreco is semi usable only half of the screen is viewable, considering the narrow fov and location of the ir port port it doesnt really make sense to have a portrait mode
Evernote is semi usable folder contents are cut off
Gonvert is semi usable some text is cut off
It should be noted that the image viewer in full screen works fine in portrait mode if the phone is upside down, earpiece down

2) its a bit off topic but cant we make the "menu" icon permanently visible when in application menu "since it becomes difficult to find a blank space to click to navigate back to the Desk"
3) Also if full-desktop-rotation occurs in near future(i hope soon)... then please provide an option to get the complete-menubar(menu clock battery and all) at the bottom left as it would be easy to navigate to menu tasks and everywhere simply by "thumb"... and it would be Original for Maemo too, since in "Android" toolbar is center aligned and its battery clock and status area splits to the top...
I hope CSSU make it possible... Soon...
All the Best...
thanks...

CSSU has provided portrait mode as an experimental feature. This can be enabled by changing the value of forcedrotation from 0 to 1 in /usr/share/hildon-desktop/transitions.ini. D-livil's transition tuner can also be used as a graphical interface for this purpose.
This wiki page gives the status of portrait mode support in various apps. At present all apps do not display correctly in portrait mode. Hence, future updates of CSSU will have rotation based on a WHITELIST. ie, only applications mentioned in the whitelist will rotate, while the rest remains without rotation. Please help us keep the wiki page updated so as to get a comprehensive whitelist for rotation.
To prevent applications from autorotating when not needed (eg., when using MicroB on bed) install status-area-orientationlock-applet from the repositories.
The desktop can be rotated using control+shift+r, but is currently unusable. This rotation can also be seen when OMweather widget is installed.
