Hello everybody,

This time, I'll try not to use a theme that had already been used.

So after summerizing all the themes for...well, a too long time, I discovered the
History of TMO camera phone competitions! thread
Would be great to update it but it's a long work.

This month, the theme is "On the edge".
Not sure of the translation, I mean "on the limit", "near to fall on the other side", "on the frontier(not only countries of course)".

Good luck!

Rules (just copy-pasted):
Photos must be taken during this month and posted before voting starts (photos must be taken between announcing the theme and starting the voting).
Photos must be taken by the posting member.
Photos must be taken with your phone's camera.
Post processing is allowed but you have to say what you did.
Users must name the phone and software they used.
Users post only one photo per entry.
Users can change the entry only once.
3 day voting period starts on April 27th at 20:00 UTC and ends at 23:59:59.99 on April 30th.
Winner of the vote should choose the next month competition theme.
You are allowed to continue off topic on this thread after competition.

Upload:
Pictures can be stored on other sites but if you have none, you can do it here:
-your pic must be 976.6 KB max.
-go here
-do "post reply"
-scroll down and hit "manage attachments"
-New window appears, hit "browse" and upload your picture.
-"Close this window"
-Above "manage attachments", right click on the image name and do "copy link"
-Into the post window, insert an image and paste the copied url
-post.
Use the copied url for your image in the here thread.

Easy...well...
Quiet sure one of you has a simpler method. Please share (again).

Not sure if simpler, just different. Differences highlighted in bold red below.

Upload:
Pictures can be stored on other sites but if you have none, you can do it here:
- your pic must be 976.6 KB max.
- go here
- do "post reply"
- scroll down and hit "manage attachments"
- New window appears, hit "browse" and upload your picture.
- click the link appearing in the Manage Attachments window, as pictured:

Name: Manage Attachments.png

Size: 20.3 KB

- this will open a new browser tab; go to that tab an copy the attachment ID (part of the URL that says, for example, "attachmentid=41583")

- "Close this window"
- Above "manage attachments", right click on the image name and do "copy link"
- Into the post window, insert an image and paste the copied url the "attach" tag, using the attachment ID obtained above
- it should look like this: [banana]41583[/banana] (replace "banana" with "attach"; I had to obfuscate it to stop TMO interpreting the tags)

- post.

The result:

Name: Mirror nest.jpg

This is kind of "On the edge", if you read/watch between lines/pads...

Sony Xperia 10II - stock Android camera:

I'd say it's a bit over the edge.

I'm having a hard time sharing photos at the moment - I took some nice one's with snow & ice, but it has finally melted, spring is finally getting underway here, and right now I just don't want to share icy/snowy pics however beautiful they are. Enough is enough.

And as always it's hard to find something on the monthly topic.
Well, I made a very random photo yesterday (just to show someone where I'm sitting while writing to them) and later realised it fits the topic somewhat:

Xperia XA2, SFOS stock camera

I'm actually sitting on another ledge there, so there's an edge above me, and another one under me, so definitely on the edge. It's a stretch, I know.

Here I want to share with you the most beautiful picture in my phone made this month (even ever, perhaps).
After 40 years photography, I am very jealous. It has been done by my 10 yo daughter with her cheap polaroid camera.

So it is really "on the edge".
On the outer edge of what could be accepted in this competition as it's a picture of a picture, both taken in april 2022 but not made by myself.
So you won't be able to make me carry the cross of winning this freaking competition again !

Fujifilm Instax mini 11
Xperia XA2 SFOS 4.4 - Advanced camery
Cropped a little in Darktable
