This morning my 32GB Tablet was effectively Dead. ie would not turn on, would not charge.

Current charging on good quality 2 Amp charger with my N900 USB cable.

It was working fine last night, when left it was not connected to anything ie charging or connected to computer.

The battery was low, maybe very low, I dont think I had switched it off.

..any suggestions?

If your battery is completely empty you are only able to wake it up with a 2 A charger - try another newer USB cable for this purpose.

It's also possible that you are experiencing the issue where the Jolla Tablet is turning off by itself - try to push the power button several times for >10sec.

Also i have a problem with usb connector in tablet, sometimes it shows charging, but actully not charging. need to push cable inside, or use different cable.

Yes, I have the same issue. Seems it developed over time.

Over *very short* time that must be.

Well, mine is several months, while Coderus' is even longer if I remember correctly. The issue manifests itself as some cables stop working so well as if the port gets a bit wider and loose. The port itself looks solidly soldered.
