I bought the phone and did factory reset as previous owner all the infos was still in. Then phone got stuck in bootloop and says:

"Device not working properly"

"Software Problem ohmd"

"Too many reboots"

I have been trying to do googling, but every link and tool seems to be dead. Is there any way to fix this? Its sad as device itself is so mint condition with original glass protector on the screen etc. Also it was working before the factory reset so I am wondering should I give up or is there any chance to get it working and find the programs needed?

Flashing could help. Do you need guidance for it? If yes, stick around and you will probably. There are guides here on the forum
https://wiki.maemo.org/Resurrect_your_N9
as well as here
https://www.dt.iki.fi/nokia-n9-resurrect
but if unsure you can wait for help.

I have red some of those links, but the download links seems to be dead and also is there any way to do it in windows 11 or do i need ubuntu for it? I would prefer windows 11 as I have it in my main pc. I live in Finland so my firmware version would be it.

I think I would be much closer to success if I would find where to download the flasher and where download the firmware, but for me those links seems to be dead?

Hello, this is definitely problem with MALF state. This should help:

https://wiki.maemo.org/MALF

But it requires Linux, and no way to get it working on Windows, I'm sure.

Well maybe I boot from ubuntu stick or something, but none of those download links does not work. Would anyone here have the required files?

If you scroll down far enough in this resource under "Tools" there is link to "flasher":
https://n9.dy.fi/2014/05/comprehensi...ware-flashing/

vmlinuz-2.6.32.20112201-11.2-adaptation-n950-bootloader and initrd.img-rescue-2.6.32.20112201-11.2-n950 are still downloadable from wiki.maemo.org

Thanks for help. Managed to get phone working. I could not find EMMC file thought. I Had 001 version on my phone.

This I found and installed: DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.21-3_PR_LEGACY_001-OEM1-958_ARM.bin

But could not find this what I am looking for as I live in Finland:

DFL61_HARMATTAN_40.2012.13-7.NORTHERNEUROPE_EMMC_NORTHERNEUROPE.bin

Could someone help me out so in future I could upload these files to somewhere myself. I also most likely will have these N9 coming and going so will be easier to flash them with all the right files.

Or is there some way I could get the file out of my phone? I have the right EMMC on the phone right now. I only flashed that 40.2012 file which was a lot newer than the firmware that was there, but did not flash EMMC. Now I only would need to get the EMMC files out.

You can use NOMAPS variant instead:

https://disk.yandex.com/d/x2JCqlnwS0JM9A

It takes less space and just doesn't have maps, which you can install on your own later.

It does not have any info on that file. Just name mmc.bin. Can I trust it?
