I just saw the following news on a German website -> http://www.golem.de/1107/84988.html

It says that there exists a new tool for WebOS which can run Windows 95 pretty smooth. It should boot in less then 50 seconds and with the next update even in less then 30 seconds. Games are already pre-installed and run acceptable.

Isn't it possible to port this tool to use it also on Maemo 5? I remember that WebOS is very similar with Maemo.

I don't know about anyone else, but it just sounds wrong to me.

I had already Dosbox on my N900 running but it was not very usable with a system like Windows 95, definitely not smooth at all. Now I saw this thread which says that it is smooth running on that Palm and I got curios about it.

I still remember how I was running Win95 on my PSP several years ago and it required around 30min~ to boot :P

Too bad that WINE is still in the alpha state on the N900, it looks promising so far.
