Now this is what I'm talking about! My favourite theme by far right now.
Love the flat buttons in the power menu and the phone dial pad also.
Interesting how you decided to make the unlock screen gray however.
It doesn't look 'right' to me. Looks like it got washed out by accident. =P

I love this B&W theme.
Wondering if you could do a variant with the desktop background/wallpaper/clock BG, etc., with a very basic, simple black field with "bottom-of-screen blue up-shine," without the cool graphics in grey and low contrast effects ("Up-shine" as in OEM themes.) And the blue could be carried into main text colors. Call it Black & Blue, or maybe "Iivilsteel Bruised."

You want this kind of flat theme, but with blue finish on it? And appmanager etc background should have a gradient background from blue to black?

Gradient's not a bad idea, actually, but not exactly what I meant. Kinda hard to explain:
Just as you have it now, except instead of what is there now for BGs (graphics and greyish flat/low contrast in Iivilsteel B&W:
1. Background/wallpaper is (not he B&W checkered pattern), but a simple black with bluish "light streaks" from the top or bottom of screen (like the Marina theme, I guess).
2. Clock BG (clock app and power button app) also "light streaks"
3. Other BGs where present, app manaager, etc: the same as above.
4. To keep the bluish thing going, blue text could be used instead of white or grey, e.g., unread mail, certain menu/submenu items, etc.
Hope that is clearer, if not I'll post some mockups.

As jakiman requested earlier on this topic, I released a new theme today which is also based on IivilSteel Theme.
This is a Black And White theme for your N900 with almost zero transparency all around.
Theme is available at extras-testing now.
Please test and then cast your vote here:
http://maemo.org/packages/package_in...white/2.0.0.2/
For those who prefer manual installation, here's a deb-file:
http://repository.maemo.org/extras-t....0.0.2_all.deb
Enjoy.
If you're rich and you think I deserve a cold beer, you may donate one or two :-P
