This month hoping to see pictures of reflections. Surface does not matter, nor does how well identifiable the reflection is. Just vote for what picture with reflection you think is the most awesome.

Rules copied (with slight adjustments) from previous owner of the high status of being the winner and cavemaster for the next game:
  • Photos must be taken during this month and posted before voting starts.
  • Photos must be taken by the posting member.
  • Photos must be taken with your phone's camera.
  • Post processing is allowed but you have to say what you did.
  • Users must name the phone and software they used.
  • Users post only one photo per entry.
  • Users can change the entry only once.
  • 3 day voting period starts on November 27th at 20:00 UTC and ends on the evening of November 30th.
  • Winner of the vote should choose the next month competition theme.
  • You are aloud to continue off topic on this thread after competition.

I knew it sounded familiar But that's OK, 4 1/2 years is a long time.

BTW, here is a list of past competitions. Not updated for a while.

Ha, thanks for the good fit.
The technician splicing my FTTH has just left the house and i did photos of the process

Here is the fiber end coming from a dslam outside the house. Merrily reflecting the automated splicers guide light while waiting to get spliced to my wall plug connectors end.

Taken with Proš, sfos Advanced Camera, contrast adjusted and cropped in darktable.

Always wonderful to read something I don't understand at all. And it is nice to leave it that way too. Mysteries of the world.

Cool!

Wish I could have seen that done when Ma Bell installed my fiber, but if it's been welded somewhere, it's a long, long way away. The fiber certainly comes on a long spool, I see "10844 FEET" marked on the jacket on the inside of my house (my brain says that's > 3300m ish). Of course I don't know what the index was where they started, but they seem equipped for some long pulls.

Yes, that was the best topic ever... And i think my very, very, very, very best shot ever with N9 ... - But now it is new year and different old phone...

So, this one is taken with Jolla1 and cropping and 90 degree change with Gimp.

I just took a picture of my car, of course, and it reflecting something like this ...

splicing is fun for the first couple of times........but after a while.....

took me a whole working day to relocate this 3 ODFs and connect everything to the 4th one which then connects with BBU. It was total mess with wrong markings. Doing one cable by colors is OK, guessing what someone else did is not.

Here is my entry, a reflection of a image of the Earth in my home made hologram viewer:

Earth reflections

The photo was taken with a samsung galaxy j4+, the image was croped in Paint.

Also other unedited photos for your delight, taken with the same phone:

Dancing

Fireworks

World at the tip pf my fingers

It was fun taking these photos, but difficult trying to focus
