hi all
'Juiceme' have made me a special version of ubiboot that has bootup for 2 Nitdroid entries and a Harmattan entry.

Before installing this, fix your system so that your 2 Nitdroid installations are as follows:

Nitdroid alpha 4 is installed in directory /home/nitdroid4
Nitdroid alpha 5 is installed in directory /home/nitdroid5

Then, unpack the file http://www.swagman.org/juice/ubiboot...oubledroid.tar (md5sum = 1ac546b186a7f6d2bdebd6b950eae5b6)
It contains 2 files, the ubiboot kernel and a tar file containing the configuration, CPIO, kernels and preinits.

1. Copy the file doubledroid.tar to your device, and unpack it (as root) with command "tar -xvf doubledroid.tar -C /".
2. flash the kernel zImage_2.6.32.54-ubiboot-02_091113 to your device.
3. Enjoy.

Depends. I'd say the most difficult thing is to make/find nice icons for your alpha4 and alpha5 OS'es
The rest of it is pretty straightforward, make 2 nitdroid preinits, one having the config for alpha4 and one for alpha5, then recompile the CPIO.

No its that wanting something doesn't mean that people will immediately help you.

Also,
Configuring ubiboot isn't very complex. If you know what partitions the OSes are on, then you can easily configure it with a few button clicks and key presses.

juiceme bro, there are two versions of sillyboot.

Version=1 loads android from -C /home/
Version=2 loads android from -C /home/nitdroid/

the two versions have different preinits. so we can use one for alpha4 and one for alpha5. as you said ''recompile the CPIO'' but i am completely newbie. i do not know how to recompile. as a user by the name of 'Shadwblade2652' said its very easy. So please can you do it for me. i am attaching both preinits.

i don't need os icons so lease this
Attached Files
File Type: zip sillyboot-preinits.zip (9.4 KB, 175 views)
