I downloaded Evince to view PDF files. It is pretty good but when I use it in full screen mode, it shows scroll bars that take up space and due to the touch screen, the scrollbars aren't really needed. So how do I hide/remove the scrollbars from Evince in full screen mode?
BTW, if you rotate a PDF to the right in evince (portrait mode), the touch scrolling from right to left makes it work so much like the picture viewing application on iPhone but on the N800 it works on PDF's. Awesome for single handed PDF viewing and page scrolling! Now if only I could hide the scroll bars in full screen.
(I kept the default PDF viewer to the original by renaming the evince.hildon.desktop file so that the default PDF viewer still works with Opera)
sorry for hijacking. there is another issue with evince. The version doesn't remember the last page, that you was reading.
Old Evince did remember for each book on what page you closed the book. Very handy for ebook reading.
