Hello,

I will soon have a 770, and forgive the newbiesque question, but, does the IT2005/2006 os include a full standard bash shell?

I ask because of a couple of simple scripts that I love, such as podget, and a perl script for removing spaces from filenames/directories.

Please forgive the random sentence structure, as I am practically about to pass out from exhaustion.

thanks

Just google for bash 770 package:

I think this is one I installed, although I got it from another site.

Note that you shouldn't change /etc/passwd to make bash your default login. I'm not sure what happens but this locked my machine into an eternal reboot and I had to reflash the operating system. Instead, just call bash whenever you start xterm.
