On my Nokia 770 installed sopme new applications from
Application manager
Now, opening Application manager I get a communicate:
Operation failed OK
I click OK
and select Show installed applications
and get a communicate:
(no applications installed)
Uninstall is not avaliable
Check for updates
Refreshed: 14/10/07
(no updates available)
Install new application:
Refreshed: 14/10/07
(no applications available)
I am aware, there is mayby a low-memory problem
SMP monitor shows the following details:
DISK STAT
_____
DISK STATUS
ROOT(/) 90% 123M=12 M free
MMC(/media/mmc1) 6% 1936M - 1816 free
RAM (+SWAP) 44% 123M - 68M free
I see I have to uninstall some applications first.
But how to un install them manually if Application manager doesn't work ?
How can I redirect Application manager to install new applications on my 2 GB Kingston /media/mmc1/ card ?
Thanks.

BTW:
you can set it to how much you like but keep in mind not to let it fill /var or worse /.
"apt-get clean" or "aptitude clean" now and then would clean up the/var/cache/apt/archives

watchout for this command if you are using 770. This will upgrade your apps to N800 and some of them wont work, for example maemo mapper 1.4.7-3 (for N800), and mplayer to N800, you use the one for 770.
