I looked around for an app like that, but no luck. I gave up and started using NoteCase, it is compatible with Windows, OSX and Linux. It allows basic formating as the Note app and can export to HTML.

Hi all.
I'm interested in strategies/methods for moving files from the desktop to the notes app and back to the desktop while retaining formatting in the notes app. In other words, I don't want to have to deal with html code.
Can anyone move a file back and forth while retaining formatting in the notes app?
Thanks in advance for any help.
Cheers

At present, if I create an html file in MS Word or Nisus Writer on the Mac, change the filename to foo.note.html, and open it in notes on my 770, I get code. No matter how much I strip that code down, I see code in the notes app.
