Can Orb re-stream the streaming windows media videos from all around the world into an N800 friendly format?

Speaking of, Orb is perfect..but the N800 is the hobbling factor. It can't handle almost any XviD/DivX i try to stream, that my Treo 700Wx handles with flair. Always "video resolution not supported"...

Just thought I'd let you know...

The N810 does not support the streaming of this content. Sorry.

It's not going to happen unless you get a significant portion (50%+) of N800 owners asking Nokia for it, which I don't see happening.

Have you considered TVersity (http://tversity.com/)? Its similar to Orb & has full N800 support. I tried it with my N800, after TVersity came out with N800 support in beta. Overall I was happy with it, but did not keep it in the end - due to my underpowered PVR being unable to transcode the video on the fly. But I would say, if your PC is up to the task, then maybe you should have a look at this app, if you have not yet done so.

A bit OT but MythTV 0.21 (and recent SVN) supports FLV playback from MythWeb. I'm not sure how well it works but I'm definitely going to try it when I get my hands on a N810.

Mr. prosthetic i assume you have a n810. But the n810 supports wmv out of the box including browser based wmv so why is streaming of that content not possible??
