I have the canola player running but it is stuck on Repeat

Complete newbie question here - How Do i get canola Off of repeat and on random or sequential from the player screen??

i hope im not hijacking this thread. i also have a question about canola. when i transfer photos and mp3s using the usb cable from pc to n800 it detected all the files. but when i transfer photos and mp3s using bluetooth from my Nokia phone to N800, canola cannot detect the files. i don't understand how it work? its probably coz its still on beta?

ferjant, Are the files going to the same folder when you use Bluetooth?

Whatever gets my thread bumped is fine by me, as long as mine gets answered eventually.

As for your problem, yeah they may not be going in to the same folder or at least Canola config isn't scanning the folder their going in to. When I dumped my song library to one of the two 8GB cards, Explorer saw one card as drive K and the other as L (Removable and internal respectively). Do a test and manually put a bluetooth file in the same folder as those Canola already sees. If the file shows up then bluetooth is auto-syncing somewhere else. If the file still doesnt show then maybe bluetooth just copied a shortcut to the file instead of the file itself?

Yes, its the same folder. You know what, its kinda weird. I turned off the device and turned it on today, guess what i saw it scanning the external card and now it sync and detect the files. How funny is that? Sorry guys, im a neophyte to this but thanks for all the help.

Sentinel in the current version there are no buttons that toggle this on or off, hopefully they will be added soon. Here is what I think you are missing, the menu level right after/under 'playlist' has 3 options 'all' 'all(sequential)' and 'random' so in simple terms you are choosing when you pick a playlist/artist/album weather the list will be randomized. But I have never noticed an option that would loop a playlist.
