Hey Everyone Am Just New Here, I Bought This Nokia 770 Just Last Week, But I Went To College Yesterday With It And I Couldnt Connect It To The Net, I Took It To One Of The Electrition And He Couldnt Figure Out What Is The Problem?
Ps: He Is A Lunix Electrition.

ok first only post your question to one place, no one wants to see the same message 4 times. Second, what is the problem? do you know how to bring up the wi-fi access point list? did you look at the book that came with it, mine has a little poster that tells you how to connect to wi-fi.

Does your collage have free WI-fi? Can you see any connections when u search for them? Tell us what happens. Can you connect with a laptop somewhere? Do u have to be in the library, etc.

Biggmo: Will anything else like a laptop connect? Do you need a WEP key to connect?

If your school is like mine, you need to log onto a website using your name and password. The network is "open" but you still need to log in using a http or https website to actually use it. Search around your school to find out what that website is. Sometimes the website will automatically redirect you when you open your browser, but not always.

ya when i was talking to one of the electrition, i got asked for a web key by the 770 , then i asked the electretion and he said they dont have one, they use different system,,,
he said to me its even weird i cant hook it up,,, i hope u can help man i really like to have it in college during my free classes and i can add notes on it..

i know how to bring to wifi up, and ofcaurse the electrition knows himself, all what we did is we tried to connect it to the server the first time we made search and found a connection tried but it didnt work second time asked us for key web but the system in college they dont use web key, i dont exactly know how the system runs there,,,

everyone said its a weird problem i belive that there is a way to connect it its just matter of time and knowing how??
