Hello.
Have anybody try to use this machine as a console for Unix servers?
I mean the serial (rs232) connection from nokia n800 to serial port of the server. Is it possible or not?
I am using a laptop for this now, but i am looking for smaler device

Yeah this can be done but you need to get a BT-Serial device (~100€) that will plug into the derial on the device ; there are 2 other people on here doing the this with no problems.

Can you give me the link for that BT-Serial you are using. Do i need drivers or other stuff for using this?

is the one I found some time ago. I never bought it, so I can't tell you anything about it you cannot find on the site.

And is it possible to use some kind of USB-RS232 cable for connection, or the only way is BT?

Somebody in "developer subforum" is trying to compile a usb2serial driver. So it does exist. Unfortunatly the driver doesn't seem like piece of cake..
