I have noticed that Electronics For Less are selling the N810 for US$319. I have contacted them and they tell me they have stock and given I am in the EU they will ship from a depot in Italy to avoid any extra tax and ensure the unit has the European and not American maps pre-loaded for the GPS.

Seems a very good deal, however does anyone have any experience buying from this company before I jump in?

At present exchange rates against ever tumbling US dollar this would work out half the UK listed price.

Electronicsforless appears to be an outright scam according to several community based business ranking sites:

That the price is absurdly low should be your first clue, but a simple google search turned up tons of information with just 30 seconds of effort. Please do at least rudimentary research before posting.

Thanks for posting without doing much research first! It was interesting reading about this scam, and if you hadn't posted, I never would have heard of it.

That's a shame. And I would not buy without doing a check with others first - thus the email here to others which is the first clue to not being stupid :-)
