I download and installed gps-camera on my OS2008 N800 and it install fine. Also WORKS better than when i had it on 2007 os. Plus my cam on 2008 LOOKS OH SO MUCH BETTER here is the link to it for anyone who like to try it. Also you can upload your photos right from the app to your flicker account. Fast and easy to get photos online.

"Jhford"
your best bet is to just play around with it there is only like 5 things or so you can do with it. if you like to upload to flicker then setup an account with them 1st.

Also if anyong knows how i can get webcam-server install on 2008 os please let me know. https://garage.maemo.org/projects/webcamserver/ it worked great on 2007. but it looks like the .deb is not working with 2008 yet.. is there anyway i can make it install !!!

thanks Craig

Glad other people are finally discovering it. Great program, much better than any other camera app at this point.

I'll second that. I don't want to get into Flickr vs. name your online photo service, but I find Flickr to be a PITA. Picasa is just (for me) a more intuitive, simple photo server.

I also like this app, but the first time I used it my n800 (OS2008) crashed. Oh well - I'll keep trying.

Now this actually makes the camera useful again! Why couldn't the other camera apps look this good?

Why does the look of the application make it more useful?

Probably he was just stating two different concepts on the same row.
One that is makes the camera useful, and the other that it also looks good (and wonder why other apps don't look so good [answer: because not all the people know about make good looking graphics]).
