Greetings All:

While waiting for OS 2008 and an Abiword port to it, I am still using 2.2.7 on OS 2007. While I am hoping mightily for this capability in the new port, can anyone tell me how to get spell check working on 2.2.7 for OS 2007? I have (several) american.hash files, but Abiword consistently refuses to find it, reporting "Could not load dictionary for English (US) [en-US] language".

Can anyone kindly offer any advice?
