So I was downloading a file from UKTube and it opened up in MPlayer. It got about halfway through the file and then the whole thing blacked out on me. All the other programs I was running are running just fine and can be closed. No matter what I do to MPlayer it is jsut a black screen, and it can't be interacted with at all. Even hitting the Home button and the x next to MPlayer doesn't do anything. I've even shut the whole thing down and rebooted and it's still there! What can I do to close this?

Try this...

Open Xterm

Enter the command "top"

See if mplayer of UKMP is listed.

If so, find the process number of mplayer and/or UKMP.

Hit Ctrl+C

Type the comand "kill whateverprocessIDmplayerorUKMPhas"

Ok it looked like that worked, but then 30sec later my n800 rebooted entirely- is that normal?

Oh, ehm *cough* I have no idea.

It's still working, though, without mplayer and such popping up?
