I asked another member on here about the 810's on Ebay and the impression I got from him was that the ones you see there are probably either the European models or the pre-release ones. Anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Ebay number is: 280182825693

Item is already closed out just to let the moderators know I am not selling it, or helping anyone out.

Thanks..but now I am even more confused. I spoke with another member on here and was informed that the official release of the N810 is not even here yet....so how are these people selling them...along with Dell?

They've been out for a month, best price generally from Let's Talk - $410.
The problem with B&M stores is that they grow wings quickly and fly off the shelves.

It seems they have been out for a while and the first bit stock has already been sold out. There is meant to ne a new stock wave hitting the 21-24th. Dont know how much.

So if your seeing some for sale on ebay, they could be real, or been bought up in the first stock release and then sold again.

The thing about ebay models at this point is that odds are they are either prerelease or the seller paid a high price. If it's the latter, you would likely see a reserve to accomodate the initial purchase. If you don't, beware.

With that said, I'm running a preproduction unit with no known hardware issues encountered. But I don't recommend that to everyone.

I bought my N810 off ebay USA and the model itself is a US model, so when it arrives I'll have to see if that gives me any issues or not.

Keep in mind what I said is not absolute-- I'm just going by probability based on what I know.
