I tried to get free trial for nav software and got this message--> Please check your time settings before activation. Huh? Any idea what this means? I have time set correctly so it must be sometin else.

The software can't know that your time settings are correct at that point - so it warns you beforehand that they'd better be correct while you install. Adjusting the clock by a large margin later on will shorten or even cancel the trial period - besides forward adjustments being counted to the used time there usually are safeguards against extending the trial period by backward adjustments in time switched software.

But it seems to stop the install. I get the message and thats it. Maybe I am too impatient. Does the upgrade take a while?

Should mention this message is in a window labelled License Error. Cannot do trial.

I am getting the exact same error. It's preventing me from registering the software or signing up for the trial. My clock is set correctly, and I got a GPS lock so that clock is set too.
