Would it be possible for somebody to email over a few deb's to me. I have been trying since the last three days to get canola2 installed and thanks to some unofficial repositories, I do have most of the files.
The debs I am missing are the
python 2.5 runtime,
python xml ,
libreadline and
libsqlite.
The maemo extras still gives service unavailable :
http://repository.maemo.org/extras/p...sso1_armel.deb

Please pm me off line if anybody could send me those debs.

And as usual I do appreciate the fact that this tablet is such a nice platform but the servers leave a lot to be desired in this day and age.

Wolf08 has his repository, but we're in the process of building a 'real' one, distributed, etc.

Take a look at http://us.tabletrepo.com under chinook, and you'll find the files you need there. I'll have the real repo up sometime this weekend with an install file.
