Waiting for my N800 to arrive, and been reading around the forums for the last days. I've come across a lot of DivX/xvid discussions, but have yet to find a thread where people actually agree wheter or not it will work. So, i fired up gspot, and looked through the specs of some of my files: The results showed that most files were xvid at about 1050 kpbs. The resolution is ~624x352/~512x384 resolution (depending on 16:9/4:3). Will mplayer, or any other N800 compatible application, run these files directly without conversion, and with watchable results? Im used to converting for my mp3 player and my PSP, and to be honest its a drag - I'd be interested in just dropping the files on the cards and take off.
