Hello everyone,

it is really a shame that there seem to be a lot of Nokia phones out there that cannot be used together with the N8x0 ITs. For example, my E60 can be paired with the N8x0 but the BT DUN is not working.

I plan to update the already existing list on:

with the newer phones released by Nokia. So please post any information on working phones / non working phones in this thread.

Is there any official compatibility list released by Nokia?

My phone (Nokia 9300) is not in the list, but I've successfully used it for BluetoothDUN.

Bug #865 may provide some pointers on debugging Bluetooth DUN.

The problem is that there is neither hcitool nor sdptool on OS2008. Does anyone know how to get these?

i have a nokia N76 and i have successfully used it for BluetoothDUN.

my opinion is that all Bluetooth 2.0 phones will definitely work. For phones supporting only BT 1.2 standard it depends whether the SAP profile is supported or not. Anyone of the maemo developers who can confirm this?

I openend a bug on maemo.org for the BT DUN incompatibility.

I repeat here what I wrote in another thread:

Of course it works with the Nokia E51 because it supports BT v2.0. Which BT profiles are listed under "supported profiles" when you click on Settings -> Control Panel -> Phone -> Edit ???

My assumption is that the N8x0 has problems with S60 phones that support BT v1.2 only (e.g. Nokia E60).
