it doesnt come with much documentation thats for sure

That's what google is for.

Flashing will wipe everything.

so just use Nokia Internet Tablet Software Update Wizard and reflash it to latest version again?

Check Control Panel->open the control panel menu->Tools->Clear device
This will perform a factory reset without needing to reflash.

Guys, on my N800, I have a whole bunch of N8x0 user manuals in various languages

Just go to File Manager in Utilities, then under Nokia 80 -> Documents -> User Guides -> User_guide_English_GB

Mine shows up a whole bunch of them, and I've deleted them all except for the ones in English. The English (US) file is 0.8MB and the English (UK) PDF is 0.5MB

I'm assuming this to be the case for the N810 as well?

Not exactly. It'll get some stuff, but it wont get you a clean install.

The manuals are bundled with the firmware.

Hi, im unable to install any app, i have formatted internal and external Memory card, but its still not working. Should i flash my n810 again? pls help, you can help me on my ICQ too, number is 448876639, pls PM me there.

EDIT: OK, i've flashed it and now is working fine.
