What specific use do you have for sampling at that data rate? I could see how it would capture acceleration data and perhaps turns a bit quicker, but don't really see much use for the average user. I expect sampling at a higher rate increases battery draw, too.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.More accurate tracks may not assist in navigation, but they're certainly more useful after-the-fact. My friends and I go nocturnal canoeing about twice a month, and I have .kmls of all the trips saved in Google Earth.
